'The Rock of Talk' Debate of the Day: Did Tom Udall Accomplish Anything Useful?
'Retirement' for another New Mexico professional pol
In his “farewell address,” U.S. Sen. Tom Udall (D-NM) extolled “his work in getting the Great American Outdoors Act passed” and “his work to support Native American communities as the vice chair of the Indian Affairs Committee.”
During his 22 years in The Swamp, did Tom Udall do anything of substance to make life in New Mexico better for his constituents?

If he did so much, how come the Indian tribes don't have access to clean water where they live (?) instead of causing them put huge water tanks in the bed of their pickups and drive miles to a water source. Why isn't there electricity available to all parts of the reservations so they can have access to electricity if they want it? Why isn't the internet available to them if they want it? Why aren't there cell phone towers everywhere so they can be 'connected' if they want it? All these things could have been done by the feds, and also by their own tribes if they really care about their people. Where are their priorities? Lip service is all that Udall has done for them!
