It’s that time of year.
In August, Dot Chat conducts database management. And that means you might get purged.
In order to keep our mailing list orderly — to provide the best customer service possible — we need to do an annual pruning. With thousands of email addresses in our system, many accounts get … well, whacked.
The good news its, if you’re a subscriber, there’s no reason to worry. You’ll continue to receive about 60 pieces of original content every month, including The Rock of Talk (as well as Liberty Lovers UNITE!) podcasts, the Daily Blast, and Dowd’s original research and commentary.
But if you signed up for free status — meaning you’re only permitted to access the paywall-unprotected content we occasionally post — there’s a good chance you’re not going to be around much longer.
The only way to guarantee that you remain a member of our community is to upgrade to a subscription. But at less than 20¢ a day, why aren’t you already a subscriber?
America is in a recession. The midterm election is three months away. And New Mexico continues to face an endless list of problems, from rampant crime to a colossal losing streak of unemployment to the worst alcohol-abuse problem in the nation.
Dot Chat is the best way to stay well-informed about the issues facing the Land of Enchantment, the United States, and the world. Thanks for your interest in and support of our work — and goodness gracious, don’t get purged!
