Keller and Manny: Two Demcratic Peas in a Pod

Eddy Aragon's campaign is already changing the policies both at Bernalillo County and Albuquerque's City Hall with his 'No Mask, No Vaxx' message.

If you needed proof that Biden’s mandate is illegal and that the efforts of THIS CAMPAIGN and the freedom loving citizens of Albuquerque who support us are working, here it is: News just broke that the City of Albuquerque will join Bernalillo County in exempting employees from President Biden’s latest vaccine mandate.

Biden recently announced that employers with more than 100 workers must require employees to get vaccinated as a condition of continued employment. Rather than going to Congress to pass a law, he simply declared it.

But the citizens of this country are making their own declarations, and that includes the only Republican candidate campaigning to be Albuquerque’s next mayor. Eddy Aragon has been on the front lines with parents, nurses, and businesses to make their own declaration, and our voices are ringing louder than anyone in the executive branch could have imagined.

Constitutional experts weighed in immediately on Biden’s order, and while New Mexico leaders weren’t among the dissidents, 24 states have threatened legal action.

In fact, Arizona’s attorney general just filed suit arguing that Biden's vaccine requirements “unconstitutionally discriminate against U.S. citizens because undocumented immigrants apprehended by federal law enforcement are not subject to a federal vaccination requirement.”

The City of Albuquerque and Bernalillo County had no choice in the matter. Their employees simply threatened to leave. Emboldened by the growing support of the #DoNotComply movement that is at the forefront of this campaign and the multitude of protests around the city, they stood up for their rights and were willing to fight for freedom, even if it meant sacrificing their jobs.

This is the American Spirit at its finest, and Eddy Aragon is proud to stand with these patriots!

According to the City of Albuquerque, "The mandates take into account the reality that municipalities depend on adequate staffing to provide critical services. We're grateful the majority in our community and workforce have stepped up to get vaccinated and will continue to make it as easy as possible for everyone to get the shot."

According to Bernalillo County Communications Director Tia Bland, "Some of those folks did make the county management aware that if a vaccine were to become a requirement to work for the county, some of those folks would consider retiring sooner than later."

While this is cause for celebration, it's unfortunate that these decisions were made due to pressure from employees themselves, not city or county leadership. They buckled to worker pressure without the support, endorsement, or resistance from either of our competitors in this November’s mayoral race. Bernalillo County Sheriff Manny Gonzales has done NOTHING to support his deputies on COVID vaccines, and Mayor Tim Keller has been as pro-vaccination as any Democrat in the country.

Albuquerque needs a leader who will fight for FREEDOM. We need a mayor who will lead the effort to ensure that our citizens are informed about the effects of the vaccines, who emphasizes the “consent” part of “informed consent,” and who will stand up to draconian lockdowns, mask mandates, and forced vaccinations from the city level on up to the governor’s office.

Because of our efforts, the efforts of this campaign and its liberty-minded supporters, governments, businesses, and schools are starting to question whether or not they should force the people of New Mexico to abide be unconstitutional mandates.

THIS is what #RESISTANCE is all about. THIS is how you force government to work FOR THE PEOPLE. THIS is how you create CHANGE.

Now just imagine how much of an effect we can have if we put Eddy Aragon in charge of City Hall.

We support everyone's right to bodily autonomy. Residents of Albuquerque—and Americans of any color, creed, or political persuasion—should not be barred from the state fair, or ANY public event, because of what they choose or choose not to put into their bodies.

We will not relent. Join us today, Tuesday September 21, at the corners of Wyoming and Montgomery from 4 to 7pm to continue applying the pressure! Bring your friends, family, and signs, and drive by to honk for #NoMoreMandates!
