Audio for the Brain, Heart, and Soul
The Rock of Talk's podcast is one of a kind
Not everyone can listen to the radio every weekday at 4:00 pm.
That’s why a subscription to www.rockoftalk.chat includes the podcast of our Albuquerque-based program.
For less than 20¢ a day, you get the full show, commercial free, with timestamped notes and links to the articles, commentaries, and research we discuss.
That’s a resource of immense value. Why? We don’t interview Tiger King personalities, or lob softball questions at Michelle Lujan Grisham’s flunkies. We’re not a mouthpiece for a political party, and we don’t try to mask our beliefs and principles by calling ourselves “journalists.”
We’re something quite different.
Take Wednesday’s show. We played the entirety of Volodymyr Zelenskyy’s appalling speech to Congress, and provided a point-by-point refutation of his nonsense — featuring the wisdom of George Washington and Thomas Jefferson. We offered a “tale of the tape” on U.S. and Russian military assets. We explored the cultural legacy of Woodstock, as well as the decline of Hollywood.
Krave’s Chili Lime, Nevada’s regulation and taxation of “commercial affection,” Guys and Dolls — the show went plenty of other places, too.
And then there was the music. Led Zeppelin, the Stones, Pink Floyd — it wouldn’t be The Rock of Talk without rock and roll.
If you’re not a subscriber, you’re really missing out. The podcast is just one part of our content. The Daily Blast, arriving at 4:00 am, gets you up to speed on everything from the weather to the overnight news to This Day in History. And the original analyses and investigations by our editor and policy director challenge the status quo and outline a better path forward for New Mexico, the nation, and the world.
